Fred Lynn is the principle of Fred Lynn and Associates. Before opening the tax consulting service in 1988, he worked within the Internal Revenue Service for 26 years. Fred Lynn held a variety of positions with the IRS, ranging from Auditor to Senior Executive positions. At his retirement in 1988, he had completed an appointment as the first Assistant District Director of the Southern California District, Laguna Niguel, California. His office was the fourth largest of the 63 IRS District Offices while he held this post. Fred Lynn, certified by the institute of Internal Auditors, earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and is a 1981 graduate of the IRS Executive Development Program, Washington DC. His knowledge, gained through 26 years with the IRS, is the basis for his firms expertise in negotiation and resolving clients tax problems, as well as for his Enrollment to Practice before the IRS and State agencies.
