ICIB (International Cargo Inspection Bureau) was established in Germany in 1965 to provide cargo inspection and manifest audit services on a multinational basis. CIMS (Container Inspection and Marine Services) was established in 1979 specifically to provide container surveys. This TAG/ICIB subsidiary now surveys all manner of maritime equipment and cargoes worldwide.
