I have over 17 years of experience assisting small businesses with their accounting and tax matters. Taxes play a significant role in managing a small business. It is vital that your business advisor understands and plans for taxes. I have obtained a masters degree in taxation form De Paul University. This education combined with my experience allows me to identify, anticipate and plan for the tax issues that a small business can face. I have focused on businesses that utilize QuickBooks to manage their accounting function. I have taught over 100 students on introductory courses on QuickBooks at Harper and Elgin community colleges. My experience with QuickBooks in consulting clients and teaching students allows me to deliver efficient and effective support on this software. After graduating from the University of Illinois I worked at AM&G(Altschuler, Melvoin & Glasser), a large accounting firm that has clients consisting of closely-held and family owned businesses. After gaining valuable experience with smaller firms I started Cronin & Associates, Ltd. in 1997. I deliver big firm experience with the agility and personal attention that a small firms allows.
